About the position

The Manager of Events and Communications at Crisis24, part of GardaWorld, plays a pivotal role in creating impactful events that align with the company's business objectives. This position involves leading event strategy, planning, and execution, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure memorable experiences. The role requires managing multiple events globally, overseeing project management, vendor relationships, and on-site execution, all while supporting the Global Communications team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives, target audience, and key messages.
• Oversee end-to-end event project management, including budget, timeline, task delegation, and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee event setup on large-scale events, including layout design, signage, audiovisual requirements, and technical support.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, analyzing attendee feedback, event metrics, and financial performance.
• Provide support and coordination of various communications strategies related to events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of in-house event management experience, focusing on large-scale global events.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of event planning best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Proficient in using event/project management software and tools.
