About the position

The Manager of Executive and Employee Communications, Technology Communications and Events at Lam Research plays a pivotal role in the Corporate Communications organization. This position is responsible for creating and executing innovative communications programs and events that align with business objectives, engage employees, and position Lam as a thought leader in the technology sector. The role requires strong storytelling abilities, leadership skills, and a background in corporate communication and event management, focusing on enhancing engagement within the technical community.

Responsibilities

  • Support communication strategies and programs for internal and external communications on behalf of Lam's Chief Technology Officer and other senior leaders.
  • Execute the executive communications strategy, including developing keynotes, organizational announcements, video scripts, and talking points.
  • Create and execute communications strategies around Lam's annual Sustainable Business report and net zero strategy.
  • Develop and implement an innovative event strategy to engage Lam Research's technical community.
  • Identify and drive the development of event content, including sourcing and managing event speakers and curating relevant technical topics.
  • Plan, budget, and oversee the execution of events, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and of high quality.
  • Manage event registration, promotion, and marketing efforts to drive attendance and maximize engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of previous events and communications experience, particularly within the semiconductor, technical, or engineering sectors.
  • Experience supporting communications and messaging platforms for senior-level leaders or C-Suite executives.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience supporting a CTO or Chief Sustainability Officer.
  • Prior experience leading and developing events in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of the latest trends in technology and a passion for creating engaging experiences for technical audiences.
