About the position

The Manager of Executive Speakerships and Events at Qualcomm is responsible for producing compelling executive appearances for C-level executives and key spokespeople. This role involves managing creative and production agencies to develop presentations and stage productions, ensuring high-quality storytelling in various formats, from intimate conversations to large tradeshow keynotes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently producing small executive presentation and video projects from initial development to final execution
• Producing mid-sized projects with limited oversight
• Working as part of a team on large, multi-faceted projects; independently owning and executing a portion of those projects while understanding how they roll up to the larger effort
• Working closely with agency partners to manage the development of slides, animations and videos that effectively communicate executive messages and are compliant with Qualcomm brand, legal and style requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience
• OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience
• OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience
• Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience

Nice-to-haves

• 8+ years developing marketing communications projects for C-level executives, preferably in the tech industry
• Knowledge of show production, including stagecraft and audio/visual systems
• Creative thinking and problem solving
• Ability to craft a compelling story
• Project management expertise, including overseeing budgets and timelines
• Ability to present and work with executive management
• Excellent people skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience with video production, including filmmaking principles and practice are a plus
• Ability to travel to events and shoots, including some international events
