The Manager, Experience Product Development at Royal Caribbean Group will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience through innovative product development. Based in Miami, Florida, this position reports to the Senior Manager or Director of Product Development and is responsible for managing teams that ideate and deliver high-quality vacation products. The role requires a champion of the product vision, ensuring that the Royal Caribbean International experience is effectively communicated and realized through various vacation offerings. In this position, the Manager will lead the implementation and execution of new concepts, experiences, activities, and dedicated spaces for Royal Caribbean International. This includes managing strategic rollout efforts for new ships, modernization of existing fleet offerings, and enhancements at private destinations. The Manager will oversee all elements of the guest experience, from initial briefings through design and execution, ensuring that concepts align with strategic goals while considering operational and construction feasibility. Collaboration with various teams, including Product Innovation, Operations, Newbuild, Design, Marketing, Digital, Sales, Risk Management, and Revenue Management, is essential for success in this role. The Manager will provide ongoing leadership for product strategy, ensuring alignment among stakeholders throughout the development process. They will leverage consumer insights to enhance the vacation experience with each new product, guiding the strategic direction for new concepts and experiences. The role also involves defining products to ensure they are viable, feasible, and desirable for guests, fostering a collaborative team dynamic that connects various disciplines. Additionally, the Manager will be accountable for product delivery, ensuring that developed products meet the strategic vision and desired guest experience. This includes working closely with operations and design teams to ensure seamless execution of programming and establishing training materials for flawless concept execution. The Manager will also lead efforts to maintain product standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all projects and teams. Finally, personnel management is a key aspect of this role, involving hiring, training, and developing team members to enhance the Product Development team’s capabilities.
