About the position

The Manager, External Reporting and Technical Accounting will oversee the financial filing process with the SEC, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and emerging accounting standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to prepare SEC filings and provide technical accounting support, while also maintaining strong internal controls and supporting sustainability disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and preparation of the Company's SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K Earnings Release Tables)
• Keep up-to-date on emerging SEC guidelines and new and proposed U.S. GAAP accounting standards
• Prepare quarterly and annual disclosure checklists
• Liaise with Investor Relations, Treasury, and Legal functions for earnings documents and presentations
• Prepare quarterly management book for senior management
• Support the Sustainability & Climate function with ESG disclosure regimes
• Provide support for specialized accounting areas including impairment assessments and lease accounting
• Support external auditors with prepared by client schedules and inquiries
• Adhere to strong internal control policies and procedures
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to support department initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant
• Big Four public accounting experience
• Comprehensive hands-on working expertise of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally

• Prior experience with HFM, SAP, and Workiva
