About the position

The Facilities Operations Manager at Metrocare is responsible for coordinating various maintenance and operational tasks within the organization. This role involves managing work orders, vendor relationships, vehicle fleet management, and overseeing security and building access. The manager will also handle payroll, purchasing, and budget monitoring, ensuring that facilities operations run smoothly and efficiently to support Metrocare's mission of serving individuals with mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates work orders and follows-up on status and completion.
  • Serves as system administrator of work order system (iMaint).
  • Maintains business relationships with 3rd party vendors.
  • Manages small projects/renovations.
  • Serves as liaison between field and office.
  • Oversees security, cameras, and building access.
  • Organizes/assists in department and company-wide events.
  • Manages company vehicle fleet.
  • Creates and processes organizational insurance claims.
  • Oversees purchasing, inventory, and delivery of janitorial supplies.
  • Processes payroll and leave request forms.
  • Enters requisitions into Munis and sets up purchase orders.
  • Handles RFPs for new services.
  • Schedules and prioritizes maintenance jobs.
  • Creates and maintains company policies and procedures related to maintenance/facilities management.
  • Creates, plans and monitors budgets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Facilities Director.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Three to five (3-5) years experience in managing an office or department required.
  • Basic math skills required; ability to work with reports and numbers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Metrocare computer software (Munis & CMMS).
  • Ability to utilize Internet for resources.
