About the position

The Manager, Facility position at Newmark involves supporting the Facility Manager in the daily operations of property management, ensuring that the building is well-maintained and meets the needs of tenants while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes effective communication, compliance with policies, and financial management, contributing to the overall success of facility operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Facility Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the property.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of fire, life safety, and other safety programs.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of maintenance programs for property conditions and appearance.
  • Support compliance with service agreement standards.
  • Participate in vendor selection and negotiate service agreements.
  • Oversee vendor performance to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Assist in planning and organizing internal and building-to-building moves.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to complete work order requests.
  • Assist with financial management and maintenance of financial records.
  • Prepare budgets, financial reviews, and monthly management reports.
  • Respond positively and promptly to tenant requests.
  • Communicate regularly with the Owner Representative to meet their needs.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify repair or upgrade needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of real estate/facility coordination or management experience.
  • Strong computer, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proven analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work well with diverse individuals and handle multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision.
