About the position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Program Manager to join the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team, which has been a cornerstone of the Navy's strategic defense for over 60 years. This role is pivotal as the FBM Program is currently experiencing significant growth, and the selected candidate will be responsible for leading the integration between the programmatic/business side of the LE2 program and the Avionics Modernization Directorate. The Program Manager will report directly to the Avionics Modernization Senior Program Manager and will play a crucial role in ensuring that Earned Value Management (EVM) business rhythms are met. This includes serving as the Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) Manager delegate at both the Avionics Directorate pre-Program Control Change Board (PCCB) and at the LE2 PCCB. In this position, the Program Manager will drive proper Control Account Management (CAM) etiquette and mentor junior CAMs, ensuring that the Avionics business rhythm is maintained and that program execution is effectively driven. The role also involves serving as the coded leader for Avionics CAMs and the Responsible/Accountable (R/O) Lead. The ideal candidate will be located near the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado, as this position does not support teleworking and requires full-time onsite work.
