About the position

The Manager, Field Force Incentives is responsible for providing project support for Incentive Compensation programs, managing sales projects, and ensuring effective communication and administration of sales incentive compensation plans for commercial field sales forces. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in deploying initiatives that impact the field force.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project support for Incentive Compensation programs, including IC Plan Communication and documentation.
  • Direct and perform supporting projects and analyses as required.
  • Ensure maintenance of applicable tools and systems used for data management and analysis.
  • Develop and publish necessary sales communications and resources.
  • Manage and execute sales projects in support of commercial field sales forces.
  • Collaborate with home office functions such as Finance & Operations, Marketing, and HR in project development.
  • Contribute to Personnel Placement initiatives and execute business rules.
  • Develop and administer training for Sales personnel on available IC tools and reporting.
  • Create, quality check, and distribute scorecards for the team.
  • Evaluate new data sources and software capabilities for enhanced data management.
  • Lead the development of a historical Incentive Compensation Data repository.
  • Manage special analytical projects with significant business impact.
  • Participate in pre-POA and POA meetings as necessary.
  • Provide necessary data and analysis to senior management.
  • Perform sophisticated ad hoc analyses regarding IC plans and translate sales data into presentation format.
  • Recommend and develop departmental systems, procedures, tools, and templates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5-7 years' relevant experience in an analytical field, with at least 2 years in incentive compensation or sales analytics in a pharmaceutical company preferred.
  • Strong quantitative analysis experience with proven ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrates leadership capabilities and acts as a project lead in process development and implementation.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data, specifically Xponent Plantrak and DDD.
  • Prior experience with Business Intelligence tools such as SAS, Qlikview, Tableau highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with high-level customers (VPs).
