About the position

The position involves overseeing technical customer inquiries, conducting customer training, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role requires effective management of Customer Engineers (CEs), ensuring timely documentation and reporting, and coordinating project assignments. The individual will also support sales and technical efforts while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Works on technical customer inquiries.
  • Conducts customer trainings.
  • Creates and maintains good customer relationships.
  • Completes on time all documentation and reports.
  • Coaches and directs assigned Customer Engineers (CEs).
  • Responsible for career planning and corrective action where necessary.
  • Establishes objectives and performance reviews.
  • Completes on time all required management reporting for the area.
  • Coordinates and plans the availability and workload of all CEs in the area for the mid term.
  • Identifies and submits requests for additional manpower requirements in case of holidays, etc., of CEs in the area.
  • Assures reporting and follow up of existing procedures by all CEs in the area.
  • Responsible/owner for the coordination of projects to CEs in the area.
  • Knowledge and active support of business plan.
  • Maintains regular communication with Regional Office and Technical Support.
  • Acts as focal point for all service related issues in the area.
  • Conducts and runs customer meetings.
  • Supports Customer Engineers in the area.
  • Provides Sales and Technical support.
  • Responsible for following departmental procedures to safeguard health, safety, and welfare.

Requirements

  • Field Service Management and/or Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 - 4 years of work experience.
