About the position

The Manager, Finance & HR Systems at LA28 will oversee the strategic governance, planning, and execution of Workday HCM/Finance/Adaptive Systems. This role is crucial in aligning technology with business strategies, ensuring that the systems meet the needs of the Finance and People teams while enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage knowledge of Workday's HCM/Finance/Adaptive enterprise software to provide functional expertise to business partners.
  • Engage in discovery around the current Workday environment and future integrations, delivering impactful presentations and designs.
  • Drive the Workday application roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with functional teams to understand requirements and drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Apply agile methodologies to manage the Workday backlog and prioritize change requests and enhancements.
  • Partner with Managed Service Provider for system updates, migrations, and new feature implementations.
  • Plan and drive Workday's semi-annual system releases and new module implementations.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement and implement feedback loops with stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases inclusive of project budgets and evaluate risks and impacts.
  • Design workflows and procedures with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Workday Systems
  • Expertise in HR & Finance administrative systems including HRIS, ERP, and related integrations.
  • Experience in platform migrations and presenting to technical and business audiences.
  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • 5+ years of product owner experience.
  • 5+ years of experience translating customer needs into product deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
