Newell Brands is seeking a Manager of Finance Process Enablement who will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting enterprise-wide programs and projects within the Finance and Accounting sectors. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance Process Enablement and is tasked with driving process improvements and supporting key functional stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and supporting initiatives and special projects, managing project resources, and tracking the progress of initiatives from initiation through implementation. The role requires a proactive approach to leading complex cross-functional initiatives that ensure the success of global and functional programs, particularly in the areas of Accounting and Finance. The Manager will work closely with functional area leaders to identify opportunities for standardization, global harmonization, and simplification of processes and controls across Newell Brands. This includes leading best practice identification and driving standardization based on business or functional feedback. The role also involves providing input to the budget process regarding the benefits realization of special initiatives and projects. In terms of project management, the Manager will collaborate with various business units to generate business cases and statements of work that define project requirements. They will develop integrated milestone and project activity plans, including change management activities and measures of success. The Manager will handle both strategic and operational responsibilities of cross-functional project teams, ensuring high-quality outputs that deliver clear value to the enterprise. They will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, Return on Investment, performance, and risks, while conducting postmortems to identify successful project elements and areas for continuous improvement.
