About the position

The Manager of Finance is responsible for overseeing the Financial Systems Department, ensuring the integrity of financial metadata, and maintaining related processes and internal controls. This role involves collaboration with the IT Department for technical support and supports the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM systems. The Manager will also mentor and train financial staff, maintain vendor relationships, and drive the finance department's strategy by implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of financial metadata in the financial systems.
• Responsible for systems administration for the Finance Department, including Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, and Oracle ERP.
• Liaison with the Company's IT department for technical support of financial accounting systems.
• Identify process gaps in financial systems and recommend best practices to prevent errors.
• Implement and maintain efficient processes for ERP and EPM administrative responsibilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert, mentor, and trainer for financial tools and systems.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, and business partners.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and projects across the organization.
• Train, supervise, and coordinate the work of financial staff while ensuring service delivery.
• Collaborate to identify and resolve business issues.
• Maintain an effective internal controls environment and adhere to FSG Policy and Procedural Statements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications.
• Minimum 7 years managing administration of financial reporting systems and underlying metadata.
• General Accounting experience with an international company, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Experience administering a cloud-based ERP and EPM system, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Technically proficient with financial and accounting systems/software.
• Capacity to analyze, interpret, and report financial data.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
