About the position

The Manager, Finance at Educational Testing Service (ETS) plays a crucial role in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, overseeing financial operations at various levels within the organization. This position is responsible for managing planning and forecasting cycles, monthly financial close processes, and performance reporting. The role requires collaboration with multiple corporate units to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making, ensuring alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage three-year, annual, and quarterly plan/forecast cycles.
• Oversee monthly close and performance reporting processes.
• Provide financial insights through reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with various corporate units to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Communicate performance metrics effectively, emphasizing key drivers.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify key issues or trends.
• Collaborate with Financial Transformation & Systems teams.
• Manage and develop finance staff.
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible financial experience.
• Prior experience analyzing financial data for a mid to large size organization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in accounting and finance in positions of increasing responsibility.
• Proficiency with managerial reporting is critical.
• Strong analytical, management, and planning skillset.
