About the position

The Manager of Fleet & Capital Asset Procurement & Remarketing at FusionSite is responsible for overseeing the acquisition and disposition of company assets. This role involves coordinating procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing equipment specifications to ensure efficient asset performance while minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO).

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain quality products, competitive pricing, and favorable terms for asset acquisition and disposition.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with users, manufacturers, suppliers, leasing companies, and remarketing vendors.
• Lead specification development, collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure safe and reliable equipment is provided.
• Prepare and present comparative analysis of specifications, products, services, and pricing to all levels of the organization.
• Coordinate the purchasing process, including award, PO issuance, financing, upfitting, delivery, initial title and registration, and insurance.
• Evaluate asset conditions and market conditions to determine optimal sales approach.
• Manage the disposition of assets through multiple channels including auction, wholesale, private party, and insurance.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all transactions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of procurement or remarketing experience in a decentralized organization.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and people skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards governing fleet operations and vehicle remarketing.
• Proficiency in fleet management software, inventory tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
