About the position

The Manager for Individual Behavioral/Nonverbal Group Home is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential group home for adults with disabilities. This role focuses on implementing Individual Service Plans (ISP), providing support to residents, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The manager will work closely with staff and stakeholders to facilitate community involvement and assist residents in achieving their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and coordinate with the Group Home Manager and Director for the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP).
• Document submitted ISP and Behavior Treatment Plan (BTP) goals.
• Monitor and advocate for new and existing goals for residents to enhance their lifestyle.
• Facilitate professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support to individuals receiving services, including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Track low volume medications for each consumer present in the facility.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and medical appointments.
• Provide receipts and financial documentation to the Group Home Manager for consumer outings.

Requirements

• Experience in supervising staff in a group home or similar setting.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card is preferred.
