About the position

The Front Office Manager at Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out services, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. This role involves leading the front desk team, managing staffing needs, and resolving guest concerns while fostering a positive work environment. The position is integral to providing exceptional experiences for guests and members at the Mystic Dunes resort.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day staffing needs and plan work assignments for team members.
  • Establish performance and development goals for team members.
  • Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status.
  • Lead the Front Desk team by creating a positive work environment.
  • Oversee and resolve problems arising from owner/guest concerns.
  • Maintain a collaborative work environment between staff and management.
  • Effectively handle incidents and guest concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure quality assurance standards of hospitality are met for all members, owners, and guests.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the customer service field is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in the customer service field is required.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills such as integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Possess a courteous and professional attitude when handling upset guests and difficult situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Interpersonal skills and high level of communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and lead others.
  • Understanding of how Housekeeping and Front Office work together.
