About the position

The Manager of Fund Finance and Accounting at Macquarie Global Services plays a crucial role in overseeing financial control, fund reporting, investor reporting, and treasury management. This position involves collaboration with finance, compliance, legal, and fund administration teams to deliver client-focused solutions, ensuring the effective management of Alternative Investment products. The role requires coordination of the audit process and providing general accounting support while addressing technical accounting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial control and fund reporting processes.
  • Manage investor reporting and treasury management activities.
  • Coordinate the audit process with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide general accounting support and drive management reporting.
  • Resolve technical accounting issues with thoughtful input.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-7 years of related work experience in public accounting and private sector accounting.
  • Experience in alternative financial services or private equity structures.
  • CPA/CA designation preferred; experience in Registered Investment Companies is advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and investment accounting exposure.
  • Significant experience in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Investran and eFront preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Registered Investment Companies.
  • Familiarity with investment accounting software like Investran and eFront.
