About the position

Pointe Advisory is seeking a Manager to support its General Practice and facilitate the firm's growth by leading teams in delivering value to clients. This role emphasizes high expectations for performance, coaching, and collaboration with both junior staff and senior leadership. The Manager will play a crucial role in project management, client engagement, and the development of research and analytical strategies, all while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Drive hypothesis generation to inform research and analytical approaches for client engagements
  • Manage project processes from start-to-finish, owning client delivery and ensuring output meets quality standards
  • Develop thoughtful approaches, work plans, and frameworks to inform decision-making for clients
  • Develop relationships with key client maps and add measurable value to client relationships
  • Oversee and conduct original research, contact development, primary intelligence, and executive-level interviewing
  • Oversee the development of best-in-class materials that exceed client expectations
  • Partner with clients on engagements by cultivating a collaborative environment
  • Develop mastery of Pointe's research and analytical approaches
  • Support the development of Pointe's proprietary database of industry experts
  • Coach and nurture junior staff and provide developmental opportunities on projects
  • Act as a role model for junior staff by embodying Pointe's values

Requirements

  • BA or BS required with a clear track record of academic excellence in fields such as Economics, Business, Finance, or Data Science
  • Master's degree in business, management, or other relevant degree preferred
  • Three to five years of consulting and/or related industry experience
  • An aptitude for networking and executive-level interviewing
  • Well-honed business acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, writing, and critical-thinking skills
  • Work ethic, dedicated, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
  • Time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, R, Python) is a plus
  • Foreign language capabilities are a plus
