About the position

The Manager of Global Marketing for the Face Complexion category at Tom Ford Beauty is responsible for overseeing all marketing strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the brand story and driving growth within the Make Up business. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities and executing innovative strategies that align with the brand's strategic direction. The manager will curate and execute an 18-month detailed calendar focusing on fast-growing categories, hero products, and brand-building channels, ensuring that all marketing efforts are informed by consumer insights and market trends. In this position, the manager will conduct thorough research to build business cases for product development and concept ideation briefs. They will prepare storytelling concept development briefs that align with the brand's equity and remain up-to-date on emerging trends across relevant industries. The role requires leading biweekly cross-functional meetings with various teams, including packaging, supply chain, and creative, to ensure alignment and collaboration on marketing strategies. The manager will also set product strategies that reinforce brand equity while ensuring financial sustainability. This includes analyzing sales trends, market intelligence, and competition to inform product launch processes and go-to-market strategies. The development of 360 GTM launch plans will be a key responsibility, requiring collaboration with online, paid, social, and other teams to create comprehensive campaign strategies. Overall, this role demands a proactive leader who can motivate others, adapt to a dynamic environment, and foster relationships across cross-functional teams to drive the success of the Face Complexion category.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate Face complexion concepts that create new business opportunities
  • Execute innovative Face complexion strategy in support of brand's strategic direction and priorities
  • Carry out white space opportunities based on findings from Regions and from retailer/consumer insights
  • Curate and execute 18-month detailed calendar, focusing on fast-growing categories and hero products
  • Conduct research to build business case for Product Development and Concept Ideation briefs
  • Prepare storytelling Concept Development briefs in line with brand equity
  • Lean deep into consumer insights and remain up-to-date on emerging trends
  • Lead biweekly cross-functional meetings with various teams
  • Collaborate with regional partners to inform strategy and ensure local alignment
  • Set product strategy that drives business and reinforces brand equity
  • Collect and analyze sales trends, category shifts, and market intelligence
  • Support mid-management in quarterly report preparation
  • Contribute to recommendations to seize market based on analysis
  • Conduct ad hoc business analysis requests as needed
  • Develop portfolio with financially accretive pricing and cost of goods proposals
  • Lead biweekly cross-functional meetings to develop 360 GTM launch strategies
  • Create campaign and copy briefs and collaborate for 360 GTM executions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Marketing experience (prestige/luxury industry and/or Face/complexion experience are a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree
