About the position

The Manager, Global Payer Marketing at Abbott is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies targeting global payers to enhance market access for diabetes care products. The position is fully remote and plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of Abbott's diabetes care initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global payer marketing strategies to expand reimbursement and support new product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Area Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Regulatory, to ensure alignment and integration of payer strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify payer needs, trends, and opportunities.
  • Create and deliver compelling value propositions, messaging, and marketing materials tailored to payer audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of payer marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay informed about global healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives and financial planning processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business, life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline.
  • MBA is desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payer marketing, market access, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of global payer environments and healthcare systems.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
