About the position

The Global Payroll Manager at CoreWeave will lead the global payroll team, overseeing payroll processes across various geographic regions while ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations. This role involves collaboration with HR, Finance, and external vendors, focusing on process optimization and best practices to enhance payroll operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee global payroll operations across all regions, ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage and review payroll calculations, tax deductions, benefits, and other withholdings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all country-specific regulations.
  • Manage and review payroll accounting and close tasks: monthly accrue and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Stay current with local, state, and international payroll laws and regulations; ensure payroll processes meet all legal standards.
  • Manage payroll audits, both internal and external, to ensure compliance and improve processes.
  • Ensure appropriate payroll records are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements in payroll processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Evaluate and implement payroll software or other technology solutions to streamline operations.
  • Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures documentation, ensuring consistency across all regions.
  • Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service.
  • Assist HR in selecting and implementing a global HRIS system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years in payroll management, with at least 5 years in a global payroll capacity.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Rippling, ADP, Workday), advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with HRIS and financial software.
  • Solid understanding of multi-country payroll compliance, including tax, social security, and labor law requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex payroll issues to a diverse audience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams across multiple locations.
