About the position
The Manager of Global Physical Security Operations is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees and facilities worldwide. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and training programs to mitigate risks and threats, thereby providing a secure work environment that supports efficient business operations and protects the company's reputation. The position requires building and leading a global program for Physical Security-related services.
Responsibilities
- Providing coordinative oversight of Global Security Operations and consistent delivery for all physical security programs.
- Overseeing regional planning efforts for new office and data center design, expansions, conversions, and restructuring to ensure compliance.
- Nurturing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Providing comprehensive guidance on regional security matters impacting personnel or operations.
- Providing timely response to emerging threats, risks, life safety, and security incidents so informed decisions can be made.
- Providing executive level briefings to country leaders and business executives around emerging threats and the potential response options.
Requirements
- Experience with security requirements, regulations, and compliance for an enterprise data center or critical infrastructure environment (domestic and international).
- Ability to identify root causes and solve complex problems.
- Experience developing and delivering project communications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret information security data and processes to identify potential compliance issues.
