About the position

As the Manager of Levi's Global Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the social media landscape for one of the most iconic brands in the world. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement global social media strategies that align with Levi's strategic marketing plan and key business goals. This position requires a deep understanding of social media platforms and tools, as well as the ability to drive innovation and creativity in social-first campaigns. You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key social media platforms and partners, ensuring that Levi's stays at the forefront of social media trends and best practices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Global Social Media agency, providing clear briefs and managing the development of bespoke social content. You will oversee social budgets and timelines, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise will also extend to influencer marketing, where you will provide best practices and guidance to enhance Levi's influencer strategies. Utilizing social listening and analytics tools, you will glean insights from social media output and translate these insights into actionable recommendations that drive engagement and brand loyalty. Mentoring junior team members will be a key aspect of your role, as you will be expected to lead by example and foster a collaborative team environment. Your ability to present projects effectively and gather feedback from a diverse group of stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring the success of Levi's social media initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop global social media strategies that support Levi's strategic marketing plan and key goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for all social platforms and tools globally, driving innovation and new ideas.
  • Build daily relationships with key social media platforms and partners to stay updated on the latest innovations and best practices.
  • Partner with Global Social Media agency by providing clear briefs and managing bespoke social content development workstreams.
  • Ensure social budgets and timelines are met across projects and workstreams.
  • Provide expertise and best practices to influencer work.
  • Utilize social listening and analytics tools to glean insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor junior team members and unite the team through command and influence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and Social Media, with agency or brand experience.
  • In-depth understanding of key social media platforms and their respective algorithms.
  • Proven ability to work with creative teams and strategists.
  • Strong skills in building briefs and coordinating execution through external partners or team members.
  • High aesthetic standards and creative judgment, with an understanding of storytelling on social media.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess social content and strategies, including both organic and paid data.
  • Ability to work with data teams to turn insights into applicable recommendations.
  • Strong presentation skills to collect and act on feedback from a broad group of team members.
