The candidate will play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards, working collaboratively with a cross-functional engineering team as well as outside partners to ensure the robust design of the boards. As a Hardware Design Manager, you are expected to be self-motivated and possess a strong will to do great things, with a result-driven mindset to develop the most competitive and endurance board products. The role involves a variety of essential duties and responsibilities. You will be responsible for schematics capture, layout checking, BOM generating, and debugging and testing of server motherboards, add-on cards, and backplane products. Collaboration is key, as you will work with layout engineers, validation engineers, software engineers, firmware engineers, product engineers, and other teams to discover and solve any engineering issues in the early stages to ensure and enhance the quality of the products. Additionally, you will prepare technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, and test procedures. Your work will ensure that products conform to engineering specifications, EMC and energy regulations, and customer performance expectations. You will provide clear documentation and strong technical support to contract manufacturers and the production department during the product sample and production stages. Engaging with customers at various levels, including senior executives, engineering, and product marketing, will be essential to convey our capabilities and vision, as well as to understand their challenges and requirements.
