About the position

The Hospitality Sales Manager at Caesars Palace is responsible for managing the booking process for social-group room blocks and restaurant group contracts. This role involves assisting guests with inquiries, providing recommendations, and ensuring seamless communication between various departments to enhance the guest experience. The manager will also engage in upselling accommodations and dining options, while maintaining detailed reporting and guest relations standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end booking process for social-group room blocks and restaurant groups.
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel and restaurant accommodations.
  • Provide recommendations on properties and room types based on guest budgets.
  • Conduct site tours for clients and upsell premium accommodations and dining options.
  • Manage the inquiry process for restaurant group events, including site inspections and menu selections.
  • Compile detailed Banquet Event Orders and ensure accurate event reconciliation.
  • Maintain efficient reporting of client trip and function information.
  • Proactively reach out to repeat guests to drive incremental bookings.
  • Attend site inspections, tastings, and pre-con meetings for events.
  • Ensure flawless communication of event and trip details with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Hotel Operations, Sales, Food and Beverage, and/or Restaurant Sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Effective communication in English, both written and oral.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with LMS, Salesforce, Guest Center, and Tripleseat.
