About the position

The Hospitality Sales Manager at Caesars Palace is responsible for managing the booking process for social-group room blocks and restaurant group events. This role involves assisting guests with inquiries, providing recommendations, and ensuring seamless communication between departments to enhance the guest experience. The manager will also engage in upselling accommodations and dining options, while maintaining detailed records of client interactions and event details.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end booking process for social-group room blocks and restaurant groups.
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel and restaurant accommodations.
  • Provide recommendations on properties and room types based on guest budgets.
  • Partner with Hotel Operations and Revenue Management to meet specific accommodation needs.
  • Conduct site tours for clients when necessary.
  • Proactively reach out to previous guests to drive incremental bookings.
  • Manage the inquiry process for restaurant group events, including site inspections and menu selections.
  • Compile accurate Banquet Event Orders and perform light accounting tasks.
  • Ensure timely communication of event details to all relevant parties.
  • Attend departmental meetings and assist in site selections for Food and Beverage Group Events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Hotel Operations, Sales, Food and Beverage, or Restaurant Sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with LMS, Salesforce, Guest Center, and Tripleseat.
