About the position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Data Governance and Reporting to join our HR Technology team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive data governance program specifically for HR data and systems. Your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of HR data while creating insightful reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making across the organization. As the Manager of Data Governance and Reporting, you will develop and implement a data governance framework for HR data, which includes establishing policies, procedures, and standards for data collection, storage, access, and use. You will partner with the HR Leadership Team and IT stakeholders to identify and address data quality issues within HR systems. Additionally, you will oversee the development and implementation of data cleansing and standardization processes, ensuring that our HR data is reliable and actionable. Your role will also involve designing and implementing a data security strategy for HR data, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will lead a team that creates user-friendly reports and dashboards that provide HR leadership and business stakeholders with actionable insights on workforce trends and talent management. Collaboration with IT will be essential as you develop and maintain data warehouses and reporting tools to support HR reporting. Furthermore, you will foster a culture of data ownership and accountability within the HR department, staying up-to-date on HR data trends and best practices in data governance. You will also identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve data management and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data quality management, or HR analytics.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of HR data and its role in strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
