About the position

The HR Operations Manager at Ouro is responsible for overseeing and optimizing various HR processes and policies to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a seamless employee experience. This role requires expertise in managing background checks, onboarding programs, data cleanup, contractor management, and more, while also supporting HR integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions and providing data analytics to drive strategic HR decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain policies and workflows for background check processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Lead the cleanup and enhancement of pre-boarding and onboarding programs to streamline the new hire experience and improve retention.
  • Manage employee data cleanup efforts to ensure data integrity and accuracy within HR systems and databases.
  • Assist employees with HR inquiries by delivering prompt and accurate responses on topics such as benefits, payroll, policies, and workplace procedures.
  • Review processes for opportunity to automate/make it self-service.
  • Support the maintenance of employee handbooks and policies, ensuring alignment with company values and legal regulations.
  • Support HR integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with company culture and practices.
  • Support data analytics and reporting functions, providing insights to drive strategic HR decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in global HR operations or related roles
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and best practices
  • Good project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proficiency in HR systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and regions
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
