About the position

The Regional HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the HR operations function, ensuring efficient HR service delivery and adherence to IQ-EQ's policies and procedures. This role involves managing HR payroll and benefits for the region, maintaining accurate people data, and ensuring compliance from a legislation and regulatory point of view.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full onboarding cycle including new hire orientation
  • Coordinate with Recruiting department on offer process and candidate questions
  • Assist recruiting with resource planning and position postings
  • Ensure completion of electronic I-9 verification process and other required documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee records
  • Identify issues and develop solutions to ensure positive employee onboarding experience
  • Manage the payroll review cycle and submission process, ensuring payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant
  • Oversee payroll system setup, maintenance, and integration with other HR systems
  • Support and back up Payroll Associate as needed
  • Administer benefits including implementation of new benefit programs and processing employee enrollments
  • Oversee annual benefit open enrollment
  • Facilitate the resolution of benefit related issues and questions
  • Analyze plan design and costs to optimize plan efficiency
  • Collaborate with benefit brokers and vendors to ensure successful benefit administration
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data in SAP HR, Paylocity, and other relevant systems
  • Administer employee changes such as promotions, pay changes, etc.
  • Provide day to day support and advice on HR operations to Payroll and HR leads
  • Deploy annual companywide HR trainings and ensure compliance
  • Generate HR data reports as needed
  • Understand and communicate company policies and procedures
  • Address and resolve employee queries and issues related to HR operations
  • Implement best practices to enhance HR operational efficiency
  • Oversee offshore HR administrative resource
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role, preferably with at least 2 years in a managerial position
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and systems (experience with SAP and/or Paylocity a plus)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Experience partnering with Senior Leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and manipulate data as it relates to the HR function
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of tax and wage laws
  • Knowledge of FMLA, FLSA, ERISA, EEO, OSHA
  • Understanding of fiscal procedures
