About the position

As the Manager of Human Resources for Research & Development at Conagra Brands, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR support to the R&D business function. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources, your primary responsibility will be to partner with business leaders to foster an engaging and inclusive employee experience that maximizes talent effectiveness and drives organizational success. This position requires a strategic mindset to translate business strategies into actionable HR initiatives that promote a positive culture, enhance organizational effectiveness, and build capabilities within the team. In this role, you will provide daily strategic HR partnership and consultation to assigned client groups and senior functional leadership. You will be responsible for coaching and advising management on the administration of HR programs, as well as managing and resolving complex employee issues. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with business and HR leadership to co-create human resource strategies tailored to the specific needs of each business unit. Additionally, you will partner with cross-functional HR peers and various HR centers of excellence, as well as other business support functions such as Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Legal. Your efforts will contribute to the development and delivery of compelling strategies and programs focused on employee engagement, talent acquisition, organizational design, talent management, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, change management, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business strategies into HR strategies and projects which promote culture, organizational effectiveness and capability building.
  • Provide daily strategic HR partnership and consultation for assigned client groups and senior functional leadership.
  • Provide coaching and advise management on ways to administer HR programs and manage and resolve complex employee issues.
  • Partner with business and HR Leadership to co-create business specific human resource strategies, aligned with the needs of each respective business.
  • Partner with cross-functional HR peers, HR centers of excellence and other business support functions including Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance and Legal on different needs.
  • Partner with the Center of Excellence, to develop and deliver compelling strategies/programs regarding employee engagement, talent acquisition, organizational design, talent management, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, change management and diversity & inclusion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects
  • Experience handling conflict management and mediation skills
  • Experience building consulting relationships and influence business leaders through coaching and partnership
