About the position

The Manager II - Data Center Management is responsible for leading multiple teams within the data center operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures and performance standards. This role involves making strategic decisions that impact business results, managing vendor relationships, and mentoring team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Data Center & Computer Operations focus specializes in the firm's data center adhere to established procedures.
• Monitor performance of computing equipment and coordinate equipment installation/delivery schedules.
• Evaluate recovery systems/services to ensure timely and efficient data and information processing.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in management of technology operations in critical environments.
• Extensive technical knowledge and understanding with three to five years of experience in relevant fields.
• Knowledge and understanding of data center power, cooling, network, structured cabling, server, and storage infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple data centers and vendors, overseeing all aspects of operations.
• Experience in managing various vendor relationships to ensure performance service levels are met.
• Leadership experience making decisions with minimal direction and prioritizing across multiple competing demands.
• Ability to mentor and develop managers and leads for daily operations with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
