About the position

The Manager II, Governance & Control Technology Testing at TD Bank is responsible for leading and managing a governance and control team, overseeing functions that involve moderate risk and complexity. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a governance and control team overseeing diverse functions.
• Provide people management leadership including hiring, goal setting, and performance management.
• Coordinate and prioritize multiple initiatives and manage resource allocation.
• Establish effective relationships with stakeholders, business sponsors, and executives.
• Present recommendations to senior management and executives.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to team members.
• Focus on medium-term planning and business issues.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in governance and control functions.
• Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures.
• Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, and regulations.
• Skill in managing budgets and resource allocation.
• Skill in mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• 3-5 years of experience in network security, firewalls, routers, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
• 3-5 years of control testing experience including writing and executing control effectiveness test scripts.
• Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, and Agile methodology.
• Ability to work effectively on virtual teams across different geographies.
