About the position

As the Manager of Implementations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful implementation of new client business and driving continuous improvement within our 3PL operations. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that our distribution and fulfillment services align with client needs and expectations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, IT, engineering, and customer service, to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. Your leadership will be essential in guiding the implementation team through complex projects, ensuring that all aspects of the launch are executed effectively. In this role, you will define the concept of operations by developing project scopes, key performance indicators (KPIs), system requirements, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will provide onsite support during the project and coordinate resources during the go-live phase. Regular status meetings with clients and internal teams will be a key part of your responsibilities, allowing you to track progress and address any potential issues proactively. Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients will be vital to ensuring their satisfaction with our services. As a leader, you will oversee the development of contractual documents and addendums, while also identifying and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including executives and clients, will be critical to the success of our implementations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful implementation of new client business and continuous improvement at the 3PL company.
  • Define the concept of operations in conjunction with contractual exhibits through the development of project scope, KPIs, system requirements, process flows, and SOPs.
  • Provide onsite support throughout the project and assist in coordinating resources during go-live.
  • Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, IT, engineering, and customer service, to ensure that new clients are set up for success.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients and internal teams to track progress and identify any potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services.
  • Lead and coach the implementation team throughout the project to ensure a successful launch of complex and strategic new business.
  • Oversee the development of contractual documents and addendums.
  • Identify and manage risk throughout the project, ensuring communication to all stakeholders including executives and clients.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience working in startup environments, operations, and change management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment.
  • Experience working in 3PL, distribution, or fulfillment centers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in 3PL.
  • Availability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Basic SQL experience.
  • Ability to engage and collect testing information from cross-functional teams and translate that information into practical testing scenarios within a WMS or automation.
  • WMS experience.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends.
  • Ability to influence others, work as part of a team, and act as a catalyst for change.
