As a Manager in Training (MIT) at Canteen, you will embark on a comprehensive training journey designed to prepare you for a future leadership role within our organization. This position is part of the Accelerated Manager Program (AMP), which combines hands-on learning with personalized coaching and assessment. You will be assigned to a training location where you will engage in on-site learning while simultaneously participating in the AMP. This unique program is structured to last approximately 12 weeks, although the duration may vary based on your individual learning needs and pace. During your training, you will gain insights into the best practices of Canteen and Compass Group, focusing on various operational areas such as finance, purchasing, supply chain, hiring, training, and payroll. You will partner with experienced leaders to understand the culture, policies, and standards that drive our success. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with local and national account standards, maintaining high service standards, and effectively communicating with team members and clients. The AMP is designed to surface and develop future leaders through a competency-based assessment that identifies your strengths and areas for growth. You will benefit from a custom-built learning path that includes experiential learning opportunities, micro-courses, and simulations, along with one-on-one mentorship and a 360° evaluation of your progress.
