About the position

This manager position will serve as the strategic leader and operational manager for the Enterprise Data Engineering & Analytics Team. Their primary responsibility is to oversee the successful delivery of high-quality data analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making and support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hiring of Team Leads, Application Analysts and Clinical Specialists.
  • Promotes professional growth and development through leadership activities and continuing education and training.
  • Coordinates/communicates effectively with the Executive Director, IT Project Directors, peer Managers (clinical and otherwise), Project Managers, Team Leads and Analysts/Specialists.
  • Establishes positive partnerships with internal customers and effectively manages these relationships.
  • Provides oversight of vendor relationships and vendor issue resolution as needed.
  • Provides managerial leadership for project and/or production support staff.
  • Provides leadership, activity planning, coordination and directions to complete the assigned project team tasks, produce the required deliverables, track and resolve issues, and meet the relevant project milestones.
  • Responsible for day to day administration of the assigned application, with assistance from the Project Manager(s) and Team Lead(s).
  • Monitors the status of the project and production support activities to ensure completion of project deliverables on agreed upon timeframe.
  • Ensures quality of final deliverables assigned to the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Seven years of experience in information technology services, to include two years supervisory/management experience.
  • Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.
  • Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Epic certification.
  • IT healthcare experience.
  • Experience as a lead or manager of an Analytics team.
  • Epic Certifications - Cogito.
