About the position

The Manager, Information Systems (IS) III is responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating resources to achieve data processing and systems objectives. This role involves overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and enhancements of systems while ensuring quality and efficiency. The manager will lead projects, manage staff, and ensure that all systems meet business objectives and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Directs, manages, and maintains data processing and/or systems ensuring quality and accuracy of output.
  • Manages systems projects to meet target dates, quality, and budget objectives.
  • Oversees completion of assigned systems efforts within established target dates and budget.
  • Manages collection of system requirements and provides operationally efficient solutions.
  • Guides and manages staff, providing project management direction and scheduling.
  • Implements IS project methodology guidelines and manages the process for project success.
  • Conducts special projects as requested by senior management and monitors adherence to standards.
  • Participates in the development of Information Systems strategic direction and coordinates across teams.
  • Coordinates systems activities with other IS managers.
  • Participates in vendor evaluations and recommends improvements for systems productivity.
  • Plans, develops, establishes, and controls assigned organization and budget functions.
  • Takes ownership of department invoices and participates in contract negotiations.
  • Represents the Bank in civic and community affairs and professional activities.
  • Fosters good relationships with colleagues to support customer service levels.
  • Facilitates a team environment through mentoring and communication.
  • Recommends hires, transfers, terminations, and performance reviews.
  • Complies with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes all required training and ensures quality controls related to financial products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years management experience.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Information Services/Technology.
  • Excellent knowledge of data processing technology, especially in banking and financial systems.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of functions in assigned department.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, tactical planning, and managerial skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
