Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day sales activities of the inside sales team
• Develop and oversee implementations of policies, guidelines, and procedures for the inside sales team
• Deploy and utilize software to ensure adherence to schedules and address adherence issues
• Build teamwork with direct reports through effective communication and involvement in team decisions
• Lead and manage training initiatives for sales and customer service
• Develop analysis to provide insight into inside sales operations and drive improvements
• Create and foster a positive work environment for high performing teams
• Direct efforts of the inside sales team by providing guidance, coaching, and professional development
• Set clear performance expectations and coach the team to achieve goals
• Achieve sales goals by hiring, training, and coaching employees
• Utilize analytical tools to maximize the potential of the inside sales team
• Attend sales group meetings and manage a small book of accounts
• Attend industry/supplier conferences to develop expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus three years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
