About the position

PayPal is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Sales Manager to lead a dedicated team within the North America Small Business Outbound Sales team. This role focuses on driving growth by managing a high-performing sales team, enhancing the merchant experience, and implementing effective strategies to meet and exceed sales goals. Responsibilities

  • Build, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and success.
  • Lead with optimism and strategic thinking to navigate the fast-evolving fintech industry.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and surpass annual sales targets and key business goals.
  • Empower team members through ongoing coaching, upskilling, and development to drive consistent growth.
  • Implement new sales models to increase customer acquisition and incremental revenue growth.
  • Skilled at accurately forecasting future pipeline and revenue, using data-driven insights and predictive analytics.
  • Ensure the consistent execution of sales policies and best practices to optimize team performance.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, group training sessions, and sales call reviews to enhance the team's sales acumen.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in inside sales management, ideally in growth-focused businesses with globally dispersed teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales methodologies.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed, and dynamic environment.
  • A business-owner mentality, with a passion for continuous improvement and team development.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to identify and present opportunities for team-wide improvements.
