About the position

Making a direct impact at the world's most advanced arena is a rare opportunity. If you want to be challenged and run your own team, you may be the next Manager of Inside Sales at the LA Clippers and Intuit Dome. The Manager of Inside Sales will recruit, hire, train, and coach our team of 10 entry level ticket salespeople. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets, identifying and developing our next generation of full-time salespeople, and providing support for various initiatives. Being a great coach while also running your team efficiently is critical. Due to the nature of this industry, you must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile NBA games.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue: The Inside Sales team's contributions are important to the Ticket Sales & Service's overall department revenue goals.
  • Recruit: You will consistently attend career fairs, build connections with colleges, connect with potential candidates on LinkedIn, and more to find our next Inside Sales Executives.
  • Onboard/Train: The first week of an Inside Sales class's onboarding is critical. You will provide a comprehensive onboarding that covers sales process, best practices, product overviews, and more.
  • Coach: You are responsible for providing consistent training and feedback to each Inside Sales Executive throughout their tenure through team meetings, 1x1s, and deskside coaching.
  • Game Day Duties: Drive revenue through various sales opportunities, such as pregame sales events.

Requirements

  • Top revenue producer on your respective team
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum three (3) years sales experience in a sports or related field
  • High proficiency in public speaking and presentation
  • Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution
  • Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a high growth, dynamic environment
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business
  • Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
