The Inside Sales Manager is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for overseeing all facets of the Inside Sales department while actively contributing to the overall sales growth. This position requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on management, ensuring that the team meets its sales targets and operates efficiently. The Inside Sales Manager will work independently, utilizing their experience and judgment to interpret and apply directives from senior management. They will also manage the department's staff and budget, collaborating closely with the Executive Team and the Marketing Director on all sales-related activities. In this role, the Inside Sales Manager will be tasked with recruiting, training, and supervising members of the inside sales team. They will set and track weekly sales targets, customer engagements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team is aligned with the company's sales objectives. Building a culture of open communication across all sales teams is essential, as is researching and discovering innovative methods to enhance customer engagement. The Inside Sales Manager will analyze sales performance data to develop actionable insights and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, promoting a culture of customer-centricity within the sales team. Collaboration with divisional managers is crucial to develop effective sales call templates and establish consistent customer interactions. Additionally, the manager will coordinate closely with marketing and field sales to gather insights and understand customers' unique needs, market conditions, and competitors. Handling escalated customer complaints and resolving them in a timely and effective manner is also a key responsibility. The Inside Sales Manager must demonstrate and promote behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers, while complying with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
