About the position

The Inside Sales Manager at MXR Imaging, Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the Inside Sales department and driving the sales growth of the organization. This position requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational management to ensure the department meets its sales targets and contributes positively to the company's overall objectives. The Inside Sales Manager will work closely with the Executive Team and the Marketing Director to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and organizational goals. This role demands a proactive approach to managing the sales team, fostering a culture of open communication, and ensuring that all team members are equipped to meet their targets. In this position, the Inside Sales Manager will be tasked with recruiting, training, and supervising the inside sales team. Setting and tracking weekly sales targets, customer engagements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential to measure the team's success. The manager will also be responsible for analyzing sales performance data to develop actionable insights that drive continued sales growth. Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts is crucial, as is promoting a customer-centric culture within the sales team. The Inside Sales Manager will collaborate closely with divisional managers to create effective sales call templates and ensure consistent customer interactions. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with marketing and field sales teams to gather insights about customer needs, market conditions, and competitive landscapes. The Inside Sales Manager will provide product information tailored to individual customer needs, support upselling efforts, and resolve escalated customer complaints in a timely manner. This position requires a commitment to upholding the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions, while also ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the department's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and supervise members of the inside sales team.
  • Set and track weekly sales targets, customer engagements, and KPIs.
  • Build an open communication culture across all sales teams.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Analyze sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and promote a culture of customer-centricity across the sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with divisional managers to develop effective sales call templates and establish consistent customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with marketing and field sales to gather insights and understand customers' unique needs, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Provide appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate and promote behaviors consistent with the Company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building, leading, and managing a world-class Inside Sales team.
  • Business unit P&L management experience.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging is ideal but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM and/or Service Sales software packages.
  • Superior verbal and written English language skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; and CRM software.
  • Quality- and customer-service driven to consistently delight internal and external customers.
