About the position

The Inside Sales Manager at MXR Imaging, Inc. plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Inside Sales department and driving the sales growth of the organization. This position requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management to ensure that the sales team meets its goals and contributes to the overall success of the company. The Inside Sales Manager will work closely with the Executive Team and the Marketing Director to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and organizational objectives. This role demands a proactive approach to managing the sales team, fostering an open communication culture, and ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary tools and training to succeed. In this position, the Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising the inside sales team. Setting and tracking weekly sales targets, customer engagements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential to measure the team's success. The manager will also analyze sales performance data to develop actionable insights and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth. Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts is crucial, as is promoting a culture of customer-centricity within the sales team. The Inside Sales Manager will collaborate closely with divisional managers to create effective sales call templates and ensure consistent customer interactions. Additionally, the Inside Sales Manager will coordinate with marketing and field sales teams to gather insights about customer needs, market conditions, and competitors. Providing appropriate product information to meet individual customer needs, supporting upselling efforts, and achieving sales targets are key responsibilities. The manager will also handle escalated customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Throughout all interactions, the Inside Sales Manager is expected to demonstrate and promote behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and values, while complying with all company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and supervise members of the inside sales team.
  • Set and track weekly sales targets, customer engagements, and KPIs.
  • Build an open communication culture across all sales teams.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Analyze sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and promote a culture of customer-centricity across the sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with divisional managers to develop effective sales call templates and establish consistent customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with marketing and field sales to gather insights and understand customers' unique needs, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Provide appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate and promote behaviors consistent with the Company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building, leading, and managing a world-class Inside Sales team.
  • Business unit P&L management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM and/or Service Sales software packages.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging is ideal but not required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in software sales.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
