About the position

The Global Issues team within the Insikt Group focuses on strategic geopolitics, influence operations, physical security, location-based risk, extremism, and terrorism. The Global Issues team is seeking a manager to lead a team of experienced threat intelligence analysts conducting research and analysis across a range of topics in support of proactive research initiatives, product requirements, and Recorded Future customers. In this role, you will oversee analysts engaged in research on Influence Operations and Strategic Geopolitics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and input on the strategic direction of long-term research priorities.
  • Manage a staff of intelligence analysts distributed globally producing current (daily) and strategic finished intelligence and servicing client requests for information with quick turnarounds and in the face of competing priorities.
  • Partner with internal Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Intelligence Services, Sales, and Marketing departments to develop and improve the Geopolitical Intelligence offering.
  • Project manage the Geopolitical Intelligence Module's coverage of global influence operation campaigns, creating a thorough methodology to ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Collaborate with managers across Insikt Group, review finished intelligence reports, and ensure that team output adheres to best practices, maintaining the highest quality.
  • Research, track, and author reports on global issues and contribute to finished intelligence reports addressing the priority requirements of our clients.
  • Represent Recorded Future at conferences, webinars, and engage with our clients through our Community outreach.

Requirements

  • Subject matter expertise in influence operations, geopolitics, and/or hybrid cyber warfare.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills; ability to convey complex concepts.
  • Experience conceptualizing and reviewing intelligence products.
  • Talent for working directly with customers to determine requirements and consultatively guiding them to the 'best fit' solution.
  • Ability to deliver day-to-day and maintain focus on long term growth and results.
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills that allow you to respond to shifting priorities, work calmly under pressure, resolve conflict, and facilitate creative problem solving.
  • Passion for working with people, service to others, and continual improvement. Adept at managing up, down and across.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and work as part of a globally distributed team.
