About the position

The Manager of Integrated Behavioral Health Services at Valley Health Partners is responsible for overseeing the Integrated Behavioral Health team and project staff across various practice sites. This role includes providing direct coaching, professional development, supervision, and daily operational support to the team. The manager will also engage in direct patient care to enhance health outcomes and promote patient participation in their wellbeing. The position emphasizes the prevention of illness, injury, disability, and early mortality. Collaboration with leadership is essential to facilitate operational management, integrated service delivery, planning, quality assurance, and risk management. The manager will research and implement evidence-based Integrated Behavioral Health Clinical Practices and interventions throughout the VHP continuum of care, ensuring clinical quality assurance in partnership with the VHP Behavioral Health senior leader.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the Integrated Behavioral Health team and project staff across practice sites.
  • Provide direct coaching and professional development to team members.
  • Supervise daily operations and support the team in their roles.
  • Engage in direct patient care to promote health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with leadership for operational management and integrated service delivery.
  • Facilitate planning, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.
  • Research and implement evidence-based Integrated Behavioral Health Clinical Practices.
  • Ensure clinical quality assurance in collaboration with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related area.
  • 3 years of experience in behavioral healthcare delivery.
  • 1 year of experience leading a team of behavioral health professionals.
  • Licenses: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of current Outpatient Behavioral Health regulatory standards and billing practices.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing department-specific data for quality assurance and continuous improvement.
