About the position

The Internal Communications Manager at NorthBay Health is responsible for creating and implementing effective internal communications plans that keep leadership and employees informed about key goals and initiatives. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing communication channels while developing new tactics to improve internal and external communications. The manager collaborates closely with senior leadership and various departments to ensure cohesive messaging across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement internal communications plans that inform leadership and employees of key goals and initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance current internal and external communications vehicles.
• Develop new channels and tactics for effective communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cohesive messaging with external marketing communications.
• Work closely with senior leadership, medical directors, physicians, vice presidents, and administrative directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant corporate communications or related experience required.
• Health care experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Superb written, verbal, and critical thinking skills.
