About the position

CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is seeking a Manager of Inventory Analytics to lead the development and implementation of business solutions and support programs for Inventory Operations. This role is crucial in utilizing statistical and database software, analytical techniques, and mathematical modeling to enhance inventory management processes. The Manager will be responsible for gathering and researching data from various sources to address and resolve issues related to essential item supply, demand, and allocation management. This includes making recommendations for business and process changes, improving inventory efficiency, and providing support for supply chain and logistics operations. The position involves creating and executing SQL queries for multiple projects and dashboards to validate product flow during seasonal and micro-events. The Manager will analyze results from large-scale supply chain data pulls using statistical techniques and perform root cause analysis for any discrepancies found in internal reporting, shipment, balance-on-hand (BOH), in-stock levels, or outliers. Additionally, the role requires researching financial and operational metrics to formulate reporting parameters for various projects and programs, as well as performing data mining to analyze vendor fill rates across different regions and stores. The Manager will also be tasked with developing new reporting and delivery methods to gain insights related to product flow, preparing reports to assist management in identifying areas for inventory growth and order adjustments, and performing data validation based on operational models. Coordination of the deployment of systems, applications, and reporting will be essential, taking into account operational and statistical relationships. Collaboration with the inventory team to identify opportunities to mitigate write-off liability and executing daily, weekly, and ad hoc reporting to support optimal business methods and procedures are also key responsibilities. This position offers the flexibility of telecommuting, with multiple openings available.
