About the position

The Manager of Inventory Planning & Replenishment at Lowe's is responsible for leading and developing a team that implements and maintains item/location level inventory plans for a group of product categories that support the company's financial objectives. This role involves analyzing business performance, developing insights, and translating them into strategies that drive sales and enhance inventory productivity. The manager will lead the team through the monthly forecasting cycle, monitor the inventory pipeline, anticipate and proactively communicate issues, and develop mitigation plans for any pipeline gaps. In addition, the manager will drive inventory and replenishment strategies to support assigned categories, including resets, promotions, events, and seasonal entries and exits. As a subject matter expert in planning and replenishment systems, the manager will utilize system capabilities to ensure inventory is directed to the right location in the right quantity to support sales while achieving target in-stock levels. The role also requires translating corporate and division goals and objectives into effective planning and replenishment strategies. The manager will lead the replenishment team to ensure proper execution of inventory plans while maintaining desired in-stock levels and will be responsible for hiring, retaining, and accelerating talent within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand, merchandise planning, replenishment, or a related field.
