About the position

The Manager, IS Project Manager - Resource Management at UW Health is responsible for leading and developing Project Managers within the IS & Informatics PMO. This role focuses on resource management to ensure optimal allocation and efficiency across multiple projects, aligning resource capacity with organizational priorities. The position requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and lead Project Managers in the IS & Informatics PMO.
• Lead Resource Management for the IS & Informatics PMO to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Develop and implement resource management strategies and processes.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of resource availability and demand.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices related to resource management and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field required.
• 5 years of significant project leadership experience in Healthcare IT and/or analytics preferred.
• 2 years of increasing leadership responsibilities preferred.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, PfMP, PSM I, PSM II or similar project/portfolio management certification preferred.
• Technical certifications relevant to area of expertise (Epic, Cisco, VMWare, etc.) preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean certifications preferred.
