About the position

The Manager, IT Business Partner - Commercial Operations & Corporate Services is responsible for aligning business strategies with technology to achieve organizational outcomes. This role serves as a vital link between strategy and execution, developing capability roadmaps in collaboration with business stakeholders to meet specific business objectives. The manager prioritizes project portfolios and enhancement backlogs to ensure efficient use of IT resources, managing relationships within the Commercial Operations & Corporate Services groups.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, management, and execution of capability roadmaps in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Assist Director and Sr. Managers in developing multi-year roadmaps outlining distinct projects and enhancement requirements.
  • Help present to the business the best way to sequence capabilities for achieving business value.
  • Support Business Analysts in documenting potential impacts of change and creating content for socialization.
  • Ensure business requirements are documented appropriately for technical understanding.
  • Drive consensus among key stakeholders and delivery teams, including EPMO, architecture, engineering, and product management.
  • Provide concise reporting to business stakeholders on project and enhancement statuses.
  • Identify needs for productive conversations and motivate team members to execute tasks.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, EPMO, Data Enablement, and internal IT teams to remove blockers and resolve issues.
  • Communicate supply-related issues to accounts, including delays and capacity constraints.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketing, and Supply teams to understand SKU/category challenges.
  • Support prioritization of projects and enhancements, driving cross-functional product owner alignment.
  • Manage the backlog of enhancements and collaborate with Portfolio Manager and Finance to ensure proper planning and budget tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Operations, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in an IT Business Partner role or similar.
  • Experience in managing Capability Maps for companies.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality IT solutions in complex environments.
  • Effective leadership skills and strong collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to partner effectively with the business to find tech solutions for end-to-end processes.
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills tailored to audience needs.
  • Exceptional documentation skills and ability to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of business capability modeling and associated tools.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes within E-Commerce and Wholesale GTM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish (preferred).
  • Fluency in French-Canadian (preferred).
  • Experience with Jira and business capability modeling tools.
  • Experience with Sales Force.
